a mosaic project

Just wanted to share this mosaic project that I did for my father-in-law.  It's an old shoe shining box, and I painted all around it, inspired by images from an old folk art book I found at a second-hand shop.  I mosaic-ed the top part with white and red tiles, and an old blue china plate.
