Stripes!

Here is a recent custom topper set :)  Here is how I painted the bride:  First, I painted her entire gown ivory.  Then, I penciled on the lines.  Then, I filled in the large blocks with a mix of ivory and white.  Then, I shaded the pencil in the gaps between the large blocks.  I then painted over that shading with a slight mix of ivory and white.  For the groom, I painted his whole suit dark grey first.  Then, I penciled on the stripes, and very delicately painted them with a small brush and a neutral grey.  I kept dipping my brush into water in order to keep the lines smooth.  Hope this helped!
